Wondering what’s Google doing/thinking nowadays? I got a feeling that they’re trying to kill Twitter & Facebook to start with. Really ambitious eyh? Well, they have the tools and resources to do such hence, it won’t be far-fetch.

Anyway, just a few days ago Google introduced Google Buzz. What does HR in general got to do with this Buzz? Well, it’s not for everyone folks but for those who loves networking, crowdsourcing and those recruiters who wanted to take advantage. Remember the first mover advantage? I guess you need to be on-board ASAP for you to reap the rewards folks.

In summary, this new Google featured called Buzz just act like Twitter and Facebook status updates – though Twitter can’t paste pictures! Would you be enticed on creating a new account for this new social networking contraption? No need to exert worthless effort since this feature is already embedded in your Gmail accounts, but that of course if you already have a Gmail Account.

Google Buzz. Go beyond status messages  Share updates, photos, videos, and more. Start conversations about the things you find interesting.

Now, how’s the response? Actually, just awhile ago Google Buzz Surpasses 9 Million Posts and Comments. In fact, I’m obsessed with it right now – yet another tool to waste time in the office.

In summary, this new feature is built to kill a few tool/features out there offered by other service providers of which HR pros can also take advantage. It might take time for you to figure out how to exploit its features and reap the rewards thereby hitting your ROI, but mind you building a massive follower/list would be a good start using your brand.

Wondering how much is your revenue per employee in your Company? As you can see more and more companies has implemented this approach i.e. revenue per employee. Whether your from Operations, Marketing or Support Group, nowadays you can’t escape because more business owners are now very particular on this one.

But, how are other companies performing in terms of revenue per employee approach? As per recent report, Google Revenues Reach $1.34 Million Per Employee. Just check the chart below.

According to revenue generated per employee, around $336,000 per quarter, or about $1.34 million per year on an annualized basis.

That’s the highest that figure has been in three years.

For comparison, Yahoo is only getting $130,303 per employee per quarter , or $512,212 annualized.

Is the screen shot for real? Is Yahoo! behind this? That I doubt..

Actually, I received this email -customer care satisfaction survey, just awhile ago. It came from my Yahoo! email account. But, my question is, is the satisfaction survey really came from Yahoo! and can be considered authentic? If you’re to look at its content and BRANDING for sure you won’t be having seconds thoughts on giving your private info, but watch out because this ploy did not came from Yahoo! but from someone who’s only interest is hacking your email….

According to reports, “A former military dog handler who’d worked at PetSmart for 18 months — didn’t want his 3-year-old Belgian Malinois, Gizmo, to be home alone all day and all night. So he put Gizmo in the store’s doggie day care facility” – MSNBC

Now, what happens two weeks later? They fired Eric Favetta for “theft of service.”  Ouch!

If you’re to look at PetSmart’s motto – “We love to see healthy, happy pets”, seems appealing right? But apparently the promise doesn’t apply to pets belonging to employees. I can’t seem to bargain my APBT “Duke” for this kind of Company – though he has bitten someone just a few days ago.

On the other hand, is consistency not part of your BRAND building? Now, what happens when you don’t walk the talk?

Now that’s stupidity! Why? Because PetSmart spokeswoman Jessica White defended the company’s decision, saying the doggie daycare service is a huge part of PetSmart’s business and yet they’ve offered him his job back….

And what’s CEB’s proposal? Cebu Pacific Offers Free Tickets To Save Face as per Candice Iyog !!! And with the move? Thousands of Cebu Pacific fan members from Facebook expressed their concern and dismayed over Cebu Pacific’s reaction and proposal. Now, you decide. Still flying with Cebu Pacific?
