Great news guys! Twitter ain’t keeping up the hype! Actually, few weeks ago Twitter – fastest growing micro-blogging platform, was valued at $1 billion by venture capitalists. They said, it has been generating sales of more than $4M a year. And now, the chart is telling us a different story. Ain’t this ironic? Would we expect these numbers to change come 2010? Now, we have a problem

Anyway, Twitter plans to start the ad business in early 2010 – so expect more hype to come, like additional few millions to expedite ROI, because for now, the current revenue comes from companies paying to use Twitter’s data, such as Microsoft, displaying Twitter updates in its search results.

So, Recruiters glued to Twitter’s potential, don’t fret!
