Will job boards eventually die?

Scary isn’t it? This might not be anytime soon – or probably far fetch, but job boards aren’t getting any socially attractive and it’s not helping us recruiters, poachers, and companies in general. We’ve invested thousands or even millions but still we’re getting tons of undesirable candidates so to speak. Is it still worth the investment? You might want to ask your recruiters if they’ve done their research.

Anyway, so what am I talking here? Well you’ve seen the graph so what do you think? All I know is that good candidates, high fliers, top performers etc. don’t post their resumes online – especially with job boards. And the New Generation workforce? They don’t want to be ’sold’ to nowadays but rather they wanted to be a part of the revolution – engage.

So if you have the Brand, follow them and seize them. You know where they’re hiding!… and for those job boards out there (jobstreet, jobsdb etc.) your days are counted….
