Free Recruitment Consultants – I have to write this!
ByFree Recruitment Consultants – I have to write this!
I just had a quick conversation with my wife lately about MeritBuilder’s value proposition, and why the whole concept is a bit scary but uniquely tempting – tempting in the sense that I wish I could duplicate the entire platform, and if I could, I know this whole thing won’t work because HRs’ from my region is not that open-minded especially if social media is involved. Duh!
Anyway, I explained to my wife why Lance Haun’s idea is a soon-to-be a killer-app and why I’m so obsessed with it. In fact, I’ve been tuning to its latest updates just to get first hand information that includes its viability, acceptance and relevance in this brave new world. Additionally, I’m also building or shall I say I’m conceptualizing a rewards program called “Rewards Program 2.0 – inspired by the current state of the market” and out from Lance’s MeritBuilder. The whole program has been evaluated by Dev Team and implementing guidelines is on the way – thanks for my ever supportive team to collate necessary information for the program.
Now, what’s the connection with the title? Actually, this whole idea “free recruitment consultants” has been running in my head for a few weeks now, it’s just that I’m not lucky enough to discuss this with someone who has the brains and weirdness that I possess – I hate not being heard when my brain starts to work. I’ve been tapping various HR networks for this one but sad to say I can’t find someone who has the desired enthusiasm to change the world of HR – locally. To continue, the whole idea/initiative will be embedded to various recruitment sites and free job boards that I own. Trust me, this whole add-on service is totally FREE!. Why free? Because it’s a bit informal – just an add-on service for my friends who value some of my initiatives and programs.
Is it viable? Yes it is! If have the bucks and mollah for me to be serious with this whole idea, I can submerge various local job boards in my place. But anyway I’m now looking for recruiters who love the idea of helping other organizations while being helped indirectly. This concept will give new/old recruiters the needed mileage for their job profiles, like they get to widen their network and learn from these organizations of whom they’ll be helping.
So is the idea worth investing your time if you’re a recruiter or an ordinary HR? Please let me know of your thoughts for me to expound the whole concept.
