“Twilight” didn’t impress me — my review
ByJust awhile ago me and my “Isa” just finished watching “Twilight” at SM City Cebu. Well, frankly speaking the movie didn’t impress me — I was expecting the middle earth war
, on the other hand, the crowd really interest me — It was like watching together with a few hundreds of teens and kids. The noise was always there when the mortal and the vampire started kissing each other. Crap! Wish to listen to their intimate conversation but these kids keeps on shouting! Weww! Well, the kids/teens enjoyed the movie a lot but me and my partner were kinda left hanging —– “I feel protective with you,” was this the line?
Actually, I’ve read a few chapters of the book, I mean ebook, and I was really glued to it but didn’t have time to finish it due to a lot of stuffs I need to do online. The book was really good and in fact I have now copies of the four books in audio format. So in short, I’ll be listening to it instead of like reading it. But going back to the movie, yes, I was really frustrated on how the movie goes as compared to the book. Well, books are books and they can be as detailed as possible, but, can they just get rid of those narrations in the middle of the climax? Those narrations and unnecessary gestures coupled with the background music was not appropriate for the climax scene, I think —- when Bella went to that ballet center?
For those of you who wants to grab a copy of the four ebooks follow this link, and for those of you who wants to grab a copy of the audiobooks you can also check this link. For audiobooks, I can burn one for you for a price but I think I have to limit the market for cebu only since its quite expensive for those living outside Cebu.
Photos below are taken awhile ago at SM City Cebu before the show. Yes! It was full house and in fact some of them are already sitting on the stairs while waiting for others to vacate the seat. Vampires are really infectious.
