The Los Angeles earthquake struck at 2:42 pm EDT measured at magnitude 5.4. The quake center was about 30 miles east of Los Angeles near the community of Chino Hills, California. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office said there were no reports of injuries in the Chino Hills area. There were no injuries reported in the city, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. But of course slight damage was present.
Additionally, the earthquake that hit Southern California on Tuesday caused phone networks to jam - but not Twitter up as many people tried calling at the same time. “There was no known damage to the company’s phone lines or cellular towers, but that both networks experienced congestion,” AT&T Inc. spokesman Fletcher Cook said
