2012 December 21 at 11:11 CMT, is this the end? As I was scanning a few stories online the latest updates about the Maya Tribe hit me. Out of curiousity I followed the story until it leads me to a discussion on “Would earth end on 2012?” Actually, there have been a lot of stories about this date in the past and in fact the story can be traced starting from the Mayan’s Mesoamerican Long Count calendar . The said calendar forms the basis for a New Age belief, first forecast by Jose Arguelles, that a cataclysm will take place on or about 2012 December 21 (Wikipedia). To support his claims a comet will hit earth on 2012 December 21at 11.11 CMT.
The bible has also a version of this story. In the book of Revelation, it tells us about a period of a thousand years of peace. So when would this period come? None of us will know but a lot are certain that it will surely be the “Judgement day.”

Man! Right now our country is in big trouble. In fact, it has been forecasted that more than 10 typhon is expected to hit Philippines, and to start with Typhoon Frank has already made a lot of noise. How much more if Spratly concern will spark. Damn! It would surely be a total chaos! I guess I have to enjoy my life now to its fullest - but of course in a productive way. I have to blog more nonsense stuffs and get to earn a few bucks! Selfish way? Nahhh.. I got nothing good to write for now.. What if blogging will end on 2012 December 21 at 11:11 CMT?

To answer your question the quick answer is NO !!! What will happen at 11:11 PM on Dec 21, 2012 is that it will be the exact anniversary of my birth. I will be 62 years old.
I have done extensive and exhaustive investigation into this topic and I can assure you that nothing, other than my birthday, will occur. If on that day you are at the Mayan ruins in South America at noon you will see a spectacular optical illusion where the snakes carved into the stone stairway appear to start moving and Quetzecoatal will descend the stairway. You can see this illusion twice a year at both the summer and winter soltices.
Until mankind gets its act together there will always be wars and rumours of wars.
