Valentines Day Opetimization!

Posted on 13 February 2008

Since Valentines Day is fast approaching a lot of SEO specialist have optimized there respective sites just to be seen by search engines. Most of them have tried various keywords just to be indexed by Google, Yahoo or MSN. As you can see these guys are the BIG Three so It’s a must to be indexed by them. Being indexed by one of them is good and rewarding already since it could possibly give you a good traffic on Valentines Day.

Anyway, I also joined this experiment. I’ve optimized my blog for this one hopping to get the mileage from search engines. It was just a simple experiment wherein I created two common articles but gave it a taste of a radical point of view just to make it cool and sarcastic.

For this one I’ve used various keywords and give it the title of “top 5 valentine gifts for woman” and t’was optimized as well to be seen when one searches for “top 10 valentine gifts for woman”. At least I have to be safe since based on observations people are hooked up to ten since it’s what most writers are fun off. By the way, t’was also optimized to work with “top valentine gifts for woman” so either a searcher don’t like numbers or misses the numbers my article will have the possibility of being seen.

Out Put..

Keywords: “top 10 valentine gifts for woman”
yahoo: 5

key word : “top valentine gifts for woman”
yahoo: 6

key word: “top 5 valentine gifts for woman”
yahoo. 1

Not bad, at least I’ve made it to one of the search engines that I’ve mentioned before. So I guess, I have to double time or even triple time just to be indexed by those search engines. Got few days more to go.
