I’m quitting my job coz I’m bored!

They’re all right.. as for my case ganun din feeling ko before jumping in to this new company. interview palang and orientation alam mo na na this is the company(bpo) that you’ve been looking for aside from the package, offer, and promise. challenges ahead also excites me, and for a fact that you have now the idea of what’s need to be done, kc usually naman company will tell you anung kulang and why are you on board. Now, you’re ready to explore that so called “windows of effectiveness”.

But, in the long run parang nag iba.. eto kc na realize ko na “I might be effective with my previous organization but dito parang wala“, as in totally wala. Why? “resources”. Resources should be available kung hindi patay lahat proposals mo. Management can’t or so hesitant of providing us one. Pero ganyan naman talaga, we can’t expect more from them or we can’t be so demanding nalang cguro and we’ll wait nalang when they’ll realize that they can’t just go leaving hr behind, and what a waste of time. Btw, yung internal client is also a major problem.

For to do’s, ang dami.. yung screen ng monitor ko packed with to do’s, yung “post it” software gamit ko.. ginawa ko nalang screen saver and desk top wall paper mga to do’s ko. So In short daming to do’s and alam mo where to start but “you don’t know where to go next“. What do I mean? The client (internal) walang time to review the progress. Worst is that these guys (internal client based sa labas ng bansa) don’t know what hr is and what hr can do to there business. Cguro literally they do but never come to appreciate the value of hr. hayyyy.. na remember ko pa nga when I asked hrdgateway and hrphillipines assistance tungkol sa employee handbook on various countries kc had to make one for every subunits naka base on diff countries. I think t’was last year and guess what until now wala pa rin nila na review coupled with the jd’s na kulang nalang nun forward sa dept. heads for their review at ma discuss ng mga staffs nila. BZ daw!

Minsan nga tinatawanan nalang namin ng boss ko (hr director) kc im reporting to her. Parang maski boss ko walang magawa sa client ko. Daming problema. Four (4) months na ako and parang wala ng chance.. sabi ko na nga sa boss di ko na di ko na kaya. I have to jump-ship kc it’s a BIG WASTE OF TIME and I really value my time. Sabi ng boss ko I should not move muna I have to fix things daw. What? paano yan.. you have the solution na and they’re not biting it, worse dead ma kalang. Maski email nga tagal mag reply. I don’t want to call them either kc I also have this bad issue with them last year nung tinawagan ko yung isang staff nila just to clarify his daily task kc I was drafting a JD for them, ayun naging pinaka malaking issue sa buong business nila and nagalit pa yung GM kc daw I talked to his staff asking what’s the meaning of this alien word na gamit nila sa task list nila. pag walang kwenta ang issue ayun naki saw2x ang GM.. tsk tsk tsk.. so your verdict?..

So ngayun, I have to take the risk, I’m still growing and I need to learn a lot. Honestly, im so helpless na. maski anung sabi nila deadma narin ako..4 months tapos walang output and wala akong natutunan. Parang blame ko na sarili ko sa situation na to and I don’t like the idea of putting in my head baka mag ka nervous breakdown ako nyan. Di ko na alam anung gagawin. I know patience is a virtue but its stupidity if ur not sane enough to realize things na you can’t be in control sa lahat na dapat mangyari.

Anyway, I’m not here to label my clients(internal) or the management, just wanted to share this experience na .. success talaga is dependent on the support + resources available. You have to familiarize the culture and the problems if possible kung kaya mo ba talaga. I’m a risk taker pero parang I’m empty headed here and growth has been stagnant. So Bessie, good luck :) .. share ka nalang if may probs ihihhi..

As for my case, ill try checking nalang sa mga job ads baka makadali….. hihi.. J hay hirap panaman mag umpisa at mag apply ulit.

well, i’m also having fun …but that feeling never lasted long because of that “guilt feeling”.. i can’t just sit here and do nothing..

anyway, as for now i’m doing stuffs that doesn’t require any approval from my client. I think this would be much better for me to expedite that necessary changes..
