Just yesterday I and a blog buddy decided a bloggers meet up for Cebu based bloggers. Actually, it all started in one of the forums (istorya.net) wherein a lot of guys were bragging about their adsense earnings. One is expecting $1,300 of adsense earnings for February and we all envy his achievement. I wonder when and how can I earn that much, but rest assured I’ll be able to earn that one if I’ll go full time blogging. For a fact also is that I’m currently earning $700 for paid reviews but I wanted to hit adsense since its a great tool for new bloggers wherein they can really provide a very lucrative profit for part time bloggers.

As they all said content is king but traffic is king, and one traffic driver is SEO. This is what that guy emphasized. After all things have been set up like optimizing your blog and creating a pillar content, one has to work with SEO afterward, and this is where I fail and mostly fail. I don’t know how, I’m just limited with the keywords and everything. Thus, this so called first Cebu blogger’s meet up would be the key. We will be exchanging notes since most of us are all newbies and noobs.

This first Cebu blogger’s meet up is actually informal. All of which were advised on the 11th hour so I won’t be expecting a huge crowd, but nonetheless no matter what the crowd it would be, still it will be cool since your basically in a crowd that can boost your passion in blogging since they’ll tell you some tips and tricks in the long run.

Moreover, one agenda for this blogger’s meet up would be a “webring”. Everyone know how powerful a webring is and these blogger’s are very willing to realize one just to boost traffic and rankings. Nice idea since a lot will benefit if your into blogging and wanting to earn out from your blog. Well of course blogging is not aimed just for profit alone. A lot has joined the blog bandwagon not for profit but just to share their experiences and expertise. Some are called passionate bloggers while others are entrepreneur bloggers and both of which has a broad definition. Some of which are dependent on your sole reason why you joined the blog bandwagon. Anyway, profit generally for others is an added bonus while to some its a milestone. In fact, others have their own business plans in blogging.

So I guess, two (2) hours more to go before the blog meet up will start and I’ll just be posting some updates here for me to document all the ideas and on how to go about this “webring” or bayanihan blogging. If your a newbie in blogging or a seasoned blogger your very much welcome to join us latter. Of course ill be inviting also other Cebu based bloggers to join the crowd and let’s share experiences and ideas.

Cebu Blogger’s Meet Up will be today February 17, 2007 at Bo’s Coffee Club, I.T park, Lahug, Cebu City and time would be at 2:00 pm.
